Om & Bass Cyprus, Photographing the Soul of Wellness and Music Festivals

There’s something truly special about photographing wellness and music festivals – especially when they’re set in places as breathtaking as Paphos, Cyprus. As a wellness and yoga retreat photographer working across the UK and Europe, I’ve been lucky enough to witness (and capture) the energy, calm, and community that flows through these gatherings.

Recently, I had the pleasure of documenting a mini festival nestled on a stunning organic farm overlooking the sea in Paphos. The retreat was hosted by Val and his wonderful Cypriot family, who embody the spirit of warm hospitality. Their farm, surrounded by orange trees and herbs, is a haven of peace and beauty.

What makes this retreat so unique isn’t just the location—it’s the vibe. There’s laughter, stillness, movement, and connection. People arrive as strangers and leave as friends, their days filled with yoga, dancing, meditation, dips in the sea, and hikes through Cyprus’s incredible mountains. As a photographer, these candid, joy-filled moments are pure gold. My goal is always to reflect the real experience.
